Since its establishment in 1993, Obeikan Publishing, part of Obeikan Education, has acted as a socially responsible organisation towards the advancement of knowledge, and support of education with a special focus on children's education, and adults within Saudi Arabia and the Arab World. Obeikan Publishing has issued more than 1800 titles of selected subjects over the span of its 17 years. In 2006 and 2007, Obeikan Publishing delivered one new title every day.

Obeikan publishing serves specialised academic markets (see Higher Education), as well as general markets. Obeikan Publishing is considered to be amongst the most prestigious publishing houses in the region, and has achieved this position in a short period of time.

Mohammed Bin Rashed Foundation and Obeikan Publishing agreed to jointly publish 165 titles in business administration, political sciences, and economics. This alliance aims to enriching the Arab library and enhancing intellectualism within the Arab World. Similarly, Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, and King Khaled Foundation have asked Obeikan Publishing to deliver a number of titles into the public domain to encourage and enhance intellectualism and general knowledge.

King Abdulaziz Foundation for the Gifted and Talented, and Hamdan Bin Rashed Award Foundation both partnered with Obeikan Publishing to deliver titles on the latest research and methods of managing gifted individuals. These will help managers, principals, educators, communities, and parents to deal with gifted and talented children.
