Obeikan Education has been involved with the operation of preparatory year programmes with Saudi universities and colleges and in the localisation of textbooks for prominent universities in Saudi Arabia.

Obeikan Education has signed a contract with the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) in Saudi Arabia, through Prince Nayef Research and Consultancy Institute to translate and localise 100 higher education reference books in Math, Physics, Biology, Business Administration and others. MoHE also signed a contract through the Academic Development Agency within KFUPM to publish 66 books dedicated to the structural and academic development within higher education. KFUPM Scientific Research Deanship also agreed with Obeikan Education to publish 22 books in a variety of study fields.

Obeikan Education has been teaching, training, and providing fully-fledged English language teaching solutions. It specializes in designing, developing and distributing state-of-the-art ELT textbooks, supplementary materials, e-Learning, training, teaching and assessment programs. Obeikan Education works together with Cambridge University Press and Bell Education as strategic partners to create a strong catalogue of high-quality and locally appropriate ELT materials for schools and institutions.

Obeikan Education and Bell Education pioneered a preparatory year programme at King Saud University, one of Saudi Arabia’s most prestigious universities. The programme benefited more than 6,000 students through interactive whiteboards in addition to dedicated labs that are equipped with the latest specialist ELT software. Students, under this program, have to attend 20 hours of English Language and English for Academic Purposes, classes. This program is considered to be the largest ELT contract in the world.

Obeikan Education and Bell also operate a Quality Assurance program for the Saudi Health Academies and Colleges, teacher training, and guidance on curriculum. A team of assessors make regular visits to the country-wide network of Academies and Colleges, carrying out inspections, training, and follow up observations.
