Obeikan Education and Laureate Education design and implement high quality custom built technical and vocational training programmes as well as operating specialist technical and vocational institutes. Such programmes target the growing need for technical manpower within Saudi Arabia and the GCC. The Laureate Obeikan joint venture currently operates Riyadh Polytechnic Institute (RPI) according to world class standards.

The programme starts with a preparatory year where the trainees go through an intensive English language course, math, IT skills, learning skills, and self-development skills. All trainees must successfully complete the year in order for them to qualify to pursue their study within one of the following specialties:

• Electro-mechanics
• Printing and packaging
• Plastic manufacturing
• Graphic design
• Sales and Marketing
• Accounting
• Secretarial work
• Supply chain management

RPI currently has an intake of 360 students per annum who are all guaranteed employment within the Obeikan Investment Group.
